Loosen the Hold of Feeling Stuck

Do you ever have fear creep in that feels very familiar? Does it stop you in your tracks and make you feel like you’re stuck? I can totally relate. I was wondering why I felt that I couldn’t move forward.

Fear Holds On

When it came to writing more blogs, my slate was dry. I recall feeling fear years ago when I was trying to muster up the courage to do a Facebook LIVE on my public page, Collecting Our Angels Nurturing Our Children. This page was set up with the intention of sharing my blogs from www.pilarkellenbarger.com which were written to help moms raise their kids, heal from their crap and offer read alouds for moms during homeschooling. Feel Fear to Release

I remember sitting on the sand one day and then forcing myself to stand amongst all the beach combers and speak to my Facebook followers. There was such a feeling of relief and a thought of “What was I so afraid of?”

My stuck feeling this time came from overcoming the feeling of speaking my mind in friendship that went wrong. I was feeling chicken because I couldn’t voice my feelings of betrayal and hurt. On social media, I was being the person pleaser to ‘like’ certain posts so not to look fearful. From so many directions, the universe was sending me signs through readings, new healing books that opened my heart releasing triggers to help heal, and every day events.

Creating Our Own Fear

Now don’t get me wrong, my intention isn’t to spread gossip but to show how hurt and fear can cause crumbling in a friendship. Because I was too afraid to state my true emotions, I did the people pleaser thing which was to just go along. By picking the idea of staying quiet and trying to hide in the silence, I kept responding to social media showing my support for people when I know now I should have spoke up earlier.

If I spoke up earlier, the outcome would have been the same as I examine the conversation. However, the lesson was to learn to speak up in a kind manner so that it wouldn’t sit and fester in my body. Because I allowed it to stay and not deal with it, I created my own fears to make me feel stuck.

Ways to Become Unstuck

As you feel that stuck feeling, ask yourself where it is coming from in a way not to blame but to locate the next lesson to learn. I realized that sometimes some of our relationships are created to mimic old relationships of family members in order to heal from it. The aspects of one might be the reason why you choose a friend or why the universe puts that person on your path. It isn’t necessarily there to create havoc but to help you release the havoc so it no longer keeps you stuck.

Steps to Release

When this stuck feeling comes up, first think about what is bothering you. What keeps coming up that you need to process and analyze? An important thing is to simply ask for help. The universe, your angels and guides will help you see it. But when you ask for help, be ready for what will be shown because it might be something you never even thought about until you asked.

Reasons are Good

Secondly, think about it in a positive way and not in a bad way. Although the circumstance can be a bit negative, look for the positive lesson you can learn. A friendship that may turn into an acquaintance is okay to reveal. This will help you recognize what you need to heal from an old relationship.

Listen to Release

Lastly, stick with it because it will be amazing I promise you. Listen to your heart, your body and your soul. They are speaking to you in order to help you heal a younger part of you that was hurt and couldn’t move forward.

My next book coming out soon is Empty Nest Graduates. It is 50 short chapters sharing ideas and strategies of living in this stage and how to come out as successful parents living and enjoying their life. While I was selling my first book, I mentioned my second. A mom I was speaking to was excited for it and was giving great advice. Isn’t it wonderful when that happens? How great is it when a total strange starts offering great knowledge to help you succeed.

Healing Help on the Way

After that one, my third book will be a healing book about all the things I have healed from to help others become unstuck. For all my books, my intent is to help in any way I can. My first book is awaiting approval to be released on the shelf of my local library in CA.
