Becoming Unstuck

Becoming Unstuck

After this strange and different year for all of us, finding our way back to our flow may have its obstacles to maneuver past. One thought that helps is reminding ourselves that we are in charge of our thoughts and not the other way around. We struggled to find our flow and maintain our path. As we felt stuck, we lost our way. Surprisingly, many have found their way back.

Everything Here to Help

Oprah helps us make a great shift when she says, “Everything that’s happening to you is happening for you.” At this very moment, we may be struggling with something negative that has happened to us. We may only have that thought in our mind, but what if we made the shift to begin to release positive energy instead of dwelling on the negative? What if we began to look at what really matters in our life and let the other thoughts that don’t align simply drop?

Many have realized that they were living by putting their job first and letting other aspects of our lives fall by the waist side. As we found our flow, we noticed that our job can be a smaller focus. We can actually put our families, hobbies, and love of life first and foremost. By living in our new found flow, we can bypass normal and make our new path extraordinary. How amazing that as the world shut down and began to offer all the positive energy such as cleaner air and water, as a collective power of positive energy we all put out in the universe what we needed and received it faster than before.

Finding Our Flow

I believe we are all in agreement that this last year was filled with many obstacles that hindered our flow. For some, it may have felt like being in a canoe that was still sitting on more of the sandy shore than the water. Once we pick figured out how to lift some of the canoe, we found our flow return.  If we think back to the positive that happened around us, we can see all the good progress that occurred. People began sharing their gifts of reading, dancing, singing, and writing. We started moving and making choices based on our heart and not our head. Connection became a goal on our canoe ride in the flow that was around us.

Like many others married, we had things trigger us as we dwelled in the same place. One of my discussions upset me; I knew I had to go back to the practices that helped me see there was a lesson inside the happening. After meditating (just sit still and align with your breath), I pulled up a video of one of my favorites. This time it was Kyle Cease. As it ended, a video of Oprah’s popped up. It really set me back on course. That is the very point, practice seeing problems as mini lessons to teach you something. Since we’re never done learning, it’s all about your awareness and stepping back into our practice of connecting with the universe to realize the new safe place.

Transforming to Strength

Sometimes we need to remember that we are always transforming to be our greatest self. In my practice, I realized that I was in a new space where I could start to drop the shields that I held up to protect me from harm such as verbal abuse. It was now my time to practice speaking up for myself in the most kind manner. While meditating and simply breathing, feelings that no longer served me vanished as I looked at them, remembering what was learned, and then watching them fall away. When you realize that the difficult times that you go through are only there to make you stronger, a beautiful wave of light appears to shine out even brighter.

During this past year some of us found our breath. By simply sitting and becoming aware of our breath in and out, we found the present moment. We felt the positive energy that linked us to the flow in the universe. We acknowledged what was going around us, yet we learned that we’re in charge of our brain and not the other way around.

New Space of Hope

In this new space of peace, we found hope. While we lived in our awareness, we noticed the positive energy that surrounding us. It was a weird sense to have fear, yet once in nature I began to feel connected and safe.  Now that this new year is bringing us out of the old one, it is important to take with us all those ideas, feelings, and choices that brought in more positive energy. Maybe we began eating and drinking with more awareness towards health, and maybe we began to open up and connect more with our thoughts and those around us. By continuing to flow with these clear aspects, we now have the knowledge that helps us when we enter any negative area.

Because we learned how to slow and breathe, walk in nature, and communicate more clearly, we have the tools to help us move into the next phase. When we practice these, we find our joys again. Our hearts become filled with warmth and happiness. By continuing our new findings of yoga, walks, writing, and sharing our own gifts, we can maintain our higher self as we remain focused on the positive energy that matters to us.
